Patrick Rio
Patrick received a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Tech in 1998.
Patrick joined the staff of Carl T. Jones Corporation in the summer of 1999. Since then he has worked on many broadcast and wireless communication related projects including broadcast television coverage analysis and channel searches, 2.5GHz wireless system planning, and measurement of noise from ambient and man-made sources. Patrick's primary areas of expertise are AM radio directional system design and optimization, upgrade and re-build planning, and modeling using various Method of Moments electromagnetic computer codes. Patrick has also assisted in field adjustment and measurement of AM broadcast facilities.
Patrick has extensive experience in network administration, is familiar with many popular network protocols such as TCP/IP, ARP, DNS, SMTP, and has experience administering and configuring network servers and routers. Patrick is responsible for the administration of computer systems running Windows and various Unix-like operating systems, as well as providing software support, script automation, and programming of utilities to facilitate the operation of the Carl T. Jones computer network.
