Carl T. (Tom) Jones, Jr. Tom received a BS degree in Electrical Engineering in 1971from the Georgia Institute of Technology. He received an MS degree in Electrical Engineering in 1979 from the George Washington University Tom joined the consulting engineering firm of Carl T. Jones Corporation in 1979 and for the past 26 years, he has served as the Corporation's President. During his 32 years with the Carl T. Jones Corporation, Tom has performed numerous communications systems designs and performance evaluations. A significant portion of Tom's experience has been in the area of design, optimization, adjustment, and performance verification of MF directional antenna systems, including complex arrays of up to twelve antennas and numerous multiplexed systems. Tom also specializes in the design and implementation of special test programs to evaluate new technologies and their impact on existing communications services. Prior to joining the Carl T. Jones Corporation, Tom was a senior engineer with ENSCO Inc., working in the areas of vehicle dynamics analysis and the design of inertial measurement systems. Tom is a Registered Professional Engineer in the Commonwealth of Virginia, a long time member of the IEEE and a member and past President of the Association of Federal Communications Consulting Engineers (AFCCE). << back to staff
