Jones Corporation ("CTJC") provides professional communications engineering services to the broadcast industry (AM, FM and TV station owners and industry groups) and to Federal, State and local government entities. The corporation specializes in the areas of: design and optimization of communications facilities, propagation analysis, frequency allocations, directional antenna design, interference analyses, facility and equipment performance verification and special test design to evaluate the impact of new technologies. The Corporation's staff has extensive experience in dealing with technical matters before the Federal Communications Commission including the filing of applications for new and modified communications facilities.
In addition to our commercial work in the broadcast industry, the corporation provides technical services to the military and other agencies of the Federal Government associated with: the planning, design and implementation of communications systems; communications systems research and development; and noise and interference characterization. Examples of our government contract work include: buried and hardened antennas, low frequency early warning systems, meteor burst communications and shipboard electromagnetic noise characterization.
The corporation's facilities are located just outside of the Washington DC Beltway in Springfield, Virginia. The facilities include: office and laboratory space, shielded enclosures, an open field test range; manufacturing facilities and a mobile communications test van.
